St Johnstone Women are back in SWPL2 action this coming Sunday when the first of the post-split fixtures sees them travel to face East Fife.
Kick-off at the MGM Timber Bayview Stadium is 12.30pm. Admission is £5.
Looking ahead to the fixture, manager Josh Henderson said: “It has been a couple of weeks without a competitive game, but we have been training well and ticking over.
“It is our first game of the split and we want to win as many games as possible from now until the end of the season. It is important we finish positively.
“We’ve played East Fife twice so far this season. We were good up here at McDiarmid Park but were not great down there. They deserved to beat us on that occasion.
“Going to Bayview will be tough and they will again make it very uncomfortable for us. We know the type of performance we need to do to get the three points.”
Saints recently added forward Juliana Bennett Luna to their squad and she was involved against Stirling University the other week.
Josh said: “She will bring energy. She wants to get on the ball, create and get forward. So she will bring a lot of qualities to the squad that we have been looking for.
“She will be a good addition and has six games of the season remaining to go and make her mark.”
He added: “Everyone is itching to play. We’ve had a few coming back from injury, but we’re getting there in terms of our numbers. That can make a huge difference.”
