St Johnstone Women’s fixtures for the Sky Sports Cup league stage have been officially confirmed as excitement builds for the new season.
In their opening match, Josh Henderson’s side will face Livingston at McDiarmid Park on Sunday, July 26.
The following week – Sunday, August 2 – it will be a trip to face Aberdeen before returning home for a test against Montrose on Wednesday, August 5.
The fourth match of the league stage will be against Renfrew, who recently earned promotion to the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2. That game will take place on Sunday, August 9.

COMPETITION INFORMATION
This is the inaugural season of a new format – kicking off on July 26 – and will involve the eight remaining ScottishPower Women’s Premier League (SPWPL) 2 clubs from season 2025/26, the bottom four from last season’s SPWPL, and the two promoted clubs from the SWF Championship, playing a total of four matches each in this opening round league stage, against four different opponents decided based on seeded pots.
Reigning champions Glasgow City will enter the competition at the second round alongside Celtic, Hibernian and Partick Thistle, whilst the two clubs participating in the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL), comprising SPWPL Champions Heart of Midlothian, and Rangers, will enter at the quarter-final stage.
