We are delighted to confirm that Sven Sprangler has penned a new two-year extension at the club, keeping him in Perth until the summer of 2027.
The Austrian has been at McDiarmid Park since 2023 and last term captained the side on several occasions from midfield and defence.
Sven is now excited for the next chapter and is looking forward to the new season getting underway.
He said: “I am absolutely delighted to be staying here for the next two seasons. Perth is like home for me.
“I am grateful to the gaffer and the club for this opportunity. Like every game, I will give everything for this club.
“I am looking forward to the new season and hopefully it is a successful campaign for us.”
Looking ahead to the new season, Sven continued: “For me, the new season starts now. I am ready to get to work and can’t wait to get started.
“It is a new challenge for us. We need to try and create a winning culture.”
Season tickets for the 2025/26 campaign are continuing to sell well – and Sven made sure to thank everyone for the support.
Sven added: “I am grateful to all the fans for their support. We need them more than ever and I know they will be by our side next season.”
