Preview | Hamilton (A)

Today we are on the road, this time we are facing Hamilton in our 11th Scottish Premiership League game of the season.

Saints are coming off the back of a strong week in the Betfred Cup with a 2-1 win away to Kelty Hearts and a 7-0 thrashing of Brechin City at the weekend.

Today’s referee is Kevin Clancy, and he will be assisted by Graeme Leslie and John McCrossan.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

This is shaping up to be a crucial fixture for both sides, as they both find themselves in the bottom half of the table. A win for Saints would lift them off the bottom ahead of next week’s Tayside Derby.

The last time these two sides met was back in December of last year where Saints came away with all three points after an 80th minute strike from Ali McCann.

This is a fixture which favours goals, you have to go back to 2016 to find the last time these two teams had a goalless draw.

This will be the 156th time St Johnstone and Hamilton have played against each other in all competitions, Saints have won a total 68 times compared to Hamilton’s 52. They have drawn 35 times.

WHERE-TO-WATCH

Today's match will be shown LIVE on Saints TV for international subscribers, with live audio commentary for Saints TV subscribers in the UK/Ireland.

Commentator Steven Watt will be joined by lifelong Saints fan Colin McCreadie to talk you through the game.
