We're back in Scottish Premiership action for the second time in four days tomorrow as we welcome Hibernian to McDiarmid Park in a 4:30PM kick-off.
Saints go into the game on the back of a 0-1 defeat against Aberdeen on Thursday night while our opponents Hibs remain unbeaten and joint-top of the table following their 0-0 stalemate with Motherwell last weekend.
Manager Callum Davidson is hopeful of having some players back from injury in time to feature in his matchday squad on Sunday afternoon after being without several first-team players for the opening four matches.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
The last time the sides met was back in November 2019 at McDiarmid Park and it was a tough afternoon for Saints.
The visitors ran out 1-4 winners, with Christian Doidge netting a hat-trick alongside a Scott Allan goal. Stevie May bagged a 90th minute consolation for Saints.
You actually have to go back to March 2014 for the last time Saints defeated Hibs at home, courtesy of a Steven MacLean goal and a Ryan McGivern OG. Liam Craig lined up for the visitors that day in a season that ultimately saw the Easter Road outfit relegated from the top flight.
Tomorrow is the 142nd meeting between the sides in all competitions, with the visitors enjoying the superior head-to-head record.
Hibs have 63 victories compared to Saints' 44. The fixture has ended all square on 34 occasions.
