PREVIEW | Motherwell (A)
11th September 2020
FRIDAY 11TH SEPTEMEBR 2020
This weekend we travel to Fir Park to face Motherwell in what will be Callum Davidson’s 7th game in charge.
Callum Davidson is looking to continue with another win after a dominate display against St Mirren before the international break, the Saints face a Motherwell side who have struggled to find form at the beginning of the season finding themselves bottom of the table.
The referee tomorrow is Euan Anderson and he will be assisted by Drew Kirkland and Joseph Lawson.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
The last time these two sides met was in February and the Saints came away with a 2-1 victory with goals from Callum Hendry and a Chris Kane 90th minute winner to seal the win.
The Saints have not won at Fir Park since 2018, thanks to another 90th minute goal from skipper Jason Kerr the Saints managed to secure all 3 points.
This will be the 168th meeting of the two sides which St Johnstone have only won 53 compared to Motherwell’s 81 wins, the sides have drawn 33 times.
