This year sees the Club mark thirty years at McDiarmid Park and to celebrate we have launched a special edition shirt which is designed to remember every player, past and present, who has featured for St. Johnstone Football Club since we made the move from Muirton Park to McDiarmid Park back in 1989.
The shirt was made available to pre-order with the first 100 jerseys guaranteed to arrive before Christmas. These sold out very quickly and you can now pre-order the 30th Anniversary shirt to be delivered at the beginning of 2020.
On the special edition shirt is the name of every player to have made an appearance for Saints between the 1989/90 season and the current campaign. Also on the jersey are three non-playing names - Geoff Brown, Sir Matt Busby and Tommy Wright.
Geoff Brown was the chairman at the time and instrumental in our move from Muirton Park to McDiarmid Park in 1989.
Sir Matt Busby was present at the official opening of the stadium during our exhibition match with Manchester United back in October 1989 and one of the most iconic pictures of that match sees the footballing legend pitch side with Geoff Brown before kick-off.
The third non-playing name on the shirt needs no introduction.
Current Manager Tommy Wright is officially the Club's most successful manager and of course guided St. Johnstone to Scottish Cup glory in May 2014.
The shirt is available in sizes small, medium, large, extra large and XXL.
