Following the expiry of his loan at McDiarmid Park yesterday, the club can announce that midfielder Tristan Nydam has returned to Ipswich Town.

The Zimbabwe-born England U19 international made his Saints debut as a substitute in the 2-1 victory against Hamilton Accies and his first start came in the 1-0 victory over Hibs at Easter Road.

Speaking to the official website this morning, the manager thanked Tristan for his efforts during his time in Perth.

"I'd like to thank Tristan for all of his hard work during his loan spell at the club," Tommy said.

"Due to a lack of first-team opportunities we feel it's best for him to return to his parent club.

"Everybody at the club would like to wish Tristan all the very best for his football career in the future."

Tristan made five appearances during his loan-spell at Saints, four from the bench and one start in the win against Hibs.
