The Ultimate Historical St. Johnstone Quiz!

27th March 2020

Friday 27 March 2020

We are conscious that there are lots of Saints fans stuck in their houses and wishing the football was back or there was something better to do than binge-watch Netflix. To that end, we were delighted when club historian Alastair Blair and the esteemed statistician (does any club have better?) Brian Doyle, put their heads together and came up with 'The Ultimate Historical St. Johnstone Quiz!'

As you may have seen on the Club’s website earlier today and in the local press, Alastair and Brian have been beavering away on a new book with the working title “Sixty Great Saints” and, coronavirus permitting, they hope it may be complete in time for Christmas.

Given there will be Sixty Great Saints, the pair have come up with sixty questions for you to demonstrate your knowledge of all things St. Johnstone. We reckon this quiz is more than a bit challenging but with Google at your fingertips you should be able to answer most of the questions.

The Club has put up three prizes which will go to three of those who get all (or the most) answers right. The prizes are:

  • One year's free subscription to Saints TV
  • A signed copy of Alastair and Brian's new book 'Sixty Great Saints'
  • A signed St. Johnstone football

To enter, simply cut and paste the questions and send your answers to: GaryHenderson@perthsaints.co.uk. Entries will remain open until midnight on Thursday 30th April 2020.
