Jonathan had spent his professional career at Halmstads BK, who play in the Allsvenskan – the top tier of football in Sweden – before joining us at Saints.

Making his first team debut for HBK back in 2016, the 25-year-old moved on to play 233 matches for the club.

A youth internationalist for Sweden, he made the switch to McDiarmid Park in January 2025 in a deal through until the summer of 2026.
