Striker Makenzie Kirk joined us at McDiarmid Park for an undisclosed fee from Heart of Midlothian.
The 20-year-old arrived in Perth on a two-year deal after netting 43 goals in 48 games for Hearts B in the Lowland League.
Makenzie, who came through the youth ranks at Rangers before moving to Tynecastle, is now ready to test himself with St Johnstone.
He wasted little time in scoring his first goal for the club and found the back of the net in our 5-1 Premier Sports Cup group stage win against East Fife.
Makenzie was soon called into the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad for Euro qualifiers against England and Ukraine.
