Forward Ruari Paton, no stranger to Scottish football, arrived on loan at McDiarmid Park in January until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The Irishman kick-started his career at Stranraer before enjoying a successful stint at Queen of the South.
He then had a highly impressive Scottish Championship season at Queen’s Park where he netted 22 goals across 43 games in all competitions.
Paton signed for English League One side Port Vale in the summer of 2024 and has also had a loan spell at Dundee United.
