Perth-born defender Liam Gordon joined the club in 2015 from Hearts and featured in the first-team pre-season friendly games against Linfield, Glenavon and Real Sociedad before joining League Two side Elgin City on-loan until January 2016.
After impressing in the U20s side following his return from Borough Briggs, Liam made his first-team debut in the 2-2 draw with Hearts on the final day of the 2015/16 season at Tynecastle.
Liam spent the latter half of the 2016/17 season on-loan at Peterhead and in March 2017 he committed his future to Saints by signing a new two-year contract. He made eight first-team appearances in the 2017/18 season and started in all four of the club's Scottish League Cup Group Stage matches at the beginning of the current 2018/19 campaign.
Liam picked up an elbow injury in a freak training ground fall ruling him out of the start of the 2019/20 campaign but he made a return to action with Saints Colts in the Challenge Cup in August and was back on the first-team bench the following weekend against Livingston.
He made his 50th senior appearance for Saints in the 0-1 defeat against Hibernian on Sunday 23rd August 2020.
