YOUTH ACADEMY DINNER PROVES A GREAT SUCCESS

26th July 2016

The Saints Youth Academy held a successful fundraising dinner at McDiarmid Park on Saturday evening when close on 90 guests enjoyed a superb three course meal provided by the club’s catering team before witnessing and taking part in a fascinating question and answer session with top table guests.

Hosted by Stuart Cosgrove, questions were answered by Youth Academy Manager Alistair Stevenson, Manager Tommy Wright, player Liam Craig and Under 20 Coach Alex Cleland who all gave their thoughts on a wide variety of topics including the current youth set-up both here at McDiarmid Park and in the game in general, the state of the game in Scotland and international football. All four also had great tales from their past to entertain the audience.

Successful raffles and auctions brought the very enjoyable event to a close and a great sum was realised for the Youth Academy efforts.

The Club would like to thank all the top table guests and the Youth Academy Committee for their work in putting the event together.
