The club can today announce that 21-year-old striker Greg Hurst has left by mutual consent.

Greg had spent the first half of the 2018/19 season on-loan at Berwick Rangers but has agreed to the termination of his contract at McDiarmid Park.

The striker joined the club from Stirling Albion in 2015 and had loan spells with East Fife and Forfar Athletic in between two spells at Shielfield Park with Berwick.

Speaking to the official website, the manager wished the forward well as he moves on to pastures new.

"I'd like to thank Greg for his hard work and endeavour during his time here however I feel that at this stage of his career he needs to be playing regular first-team football.

"I'm sure Greg can achieve that with another club and we wish him all the best in the future."
