McCann joins Stranraer on-loan

The club can today announce that 19-year-old midfielder Ali McCann has joined Stranraer on-loan until the end of the season.
Ali has been captaining the club's Reserve team this season and will now get the chance to experience first-team football in Scottish League One with Stephen Farrell's side.
Speaking to the club's official website, the manager said that it's a good move for the young midfielder who he sees as one for the future at the club.
"It's a great opportunity for Ali," he said, "he has featured in the first-team here before but this means he can go out and get regular games in a competitive league.
"We see Ali as a player for the future here and he'll gain a lot out of this loan spell just as others who now feature in our first-team have done in the past."
Ali goes straight into the Stranraer squad for their Ladbrokes League One fixture with Dumbarton this weekend.
