Player of the Month award for Tony

Saints striker Tony Watt has today been named as the Ladbrokes Premiership Player of the Month for August.
The 24-year-old accepted his award at a sunny McDiarmid Park this morning after making a positive start to his St. Johnstone career. Tony has netted six times in all competitions so far, including the winning goal against Tayside rivals Dundee.
In his video interview this morning after collecting the award, Tony said: "I'm delighted. Obviously it's good to be recognised as the player of the month but the hard work doesn't stop there and hopefully we can keep it going as a team.
"In football you've always got a point to prove and hopefully I can keep it up and score as many goals aa possible.
"I'm still looking to reach double figures and if I can reach that this season I'll be happy."
