We are delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Logan Chalmers.
The 26-year-old, most recently of Partick Thistle, has penned a contract until the summer of 2028 at McDiarmid Park.
He netted 12 goals and chipped in with nine assists during the 2025/26 Scottish Championship season for second-placed Thistle.
Logan started his career with Dundee United and has previously had loan spells at Arbroath, Inverness, Ayr and Tranmere.
After joining the Saints, he said: “I’m so happy to finally get it done and can’t wait to now get started.
“I had a few calls with the gaffer. From the first time I spoke to him, I could see myself playing here.
“He was passionate and put across how we want to play really well. All of the conversations I had with him were very positive.
“Saints were a very good team last season and won the league for a reason. There was real consistency week in, week out. Now I want to add to that.”
Logan added: “It’s obviously a step up in the Premiership. But I believe in myself and that I am capable of adding something to the team.
“We’re all going to need to work hard, but the boys know that. We have real quality in the squad and are more than capable of competing.
“I’m excited to get the shirt on, start playing and to meet all the fans. It’s been a short break but I’m ready to get going again.”
