We would like to thank supporters for their patience following the late and unanticipated closure of the East Stand before our William Hill Premiership fixture against Falkirk.
An unforeseen electrical fault left us with no option but to close the stand for health and safety reasons. The wellbeing of everyone inside McDiarmid Park is always our number one priority.
A full investigation into the fault will be carried out.
We apologise to supporters for the inconvenience and again thank them for their understanding and incredible backing through until the final whistle to help us secure a point.
CEO Francis Smith: “I would like to thank all supporters for their patience and cooperation while the issue was dealt with.
“We appreciate the inconvenience this caused and recognise the frustration for those affected.
“Despite the disruption, you pushed the players right through until the 95th minute. We thank you again for your continued support.”
