The Peter Steinle Award was presented before Sunday’s William Hill Premiership fixture against Dundee.

The award, handed out annually to the U18 player of the year, was started in 2013 in memory of Peter Steinle, a hotelier who was a loyal St Johnstone fan.

His family then raised money through the Peter Steinle Foundation, with £500 awarded to the winner every year.

We were delighted to again welcome Peter’s wife Jane and son Chris to McDiarmid Park to present the trophy.

This year, the award was split between Arran Brookfield and Murray Binnie. Both players enjoyed a productive campaign with the U18s and picked up plenty of experience training with the first team.

Congratulations from everyone at the club goes to Arran and Murray, while we thank Jane and Chris greatly for their continued support.
