Joel Cotterill was in action for Wales under-21s on Tuesday evening.
Our midfielder came off the bench in the 65th minute as Wales attempted to recover from being a goal and a man down.
Norman Bassette had opened the scoring for the Belgian hosts in Westerlo with just seven minutes on the clock.
Wales were then reduced to 10 men when defender Dan Cox saw red after picking up two quick-fire bookings before the break.
Despite being a number short, Cotterill and his team-mates pushed hard in the latter stages of the game but were unable to find a leveller.
They are next in action on Tuesday, October 6 when they face Austria at The Oval in Caernarfon.
