We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Louis Lloyd from Cymru Premier club Caernarfon Town for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.
The 21-year-old joins the Saints on a three-year deal through until the summer of 2028.
Lloyd, 21, played a starring role as Caernarfon Town achieved a joint record fourth-place finish in the JD Cymru Premier last season and reached the European play-off final.
He scored five goals in the final four games of the regular season to share the golden boot with a tally of 16, before netting another four goals in the 5-2 play-off quarter-final victory over Barry Town United.
Lloyd was named the JD Cymru Premier Young Player of the Season for 2024/25 and was also named in the JD Cymru Premier Team of the Season.
His former clubs also include Shrewsbury Town and Wrexham.
Lloyd said: “I’m delighted to get this move over the line. From the minute I heard about the interest, I thought it was a place I can flourish and show my talent.
“The stature of the club was a big pull for me. I got a great buzz off the head coach and that made me want to come to the club even more. His style of football suits me.
“I’ve heard a lot about Scottish football and everyone knows about that cup double in 2021. I’ve spoken to a few people who I know from up here and they had nothing but good things to say about the club.
“I can’t wait to start playing and hopefully we can give the fans plenty to cheer about this season.”
Lloyd added: “I feel I’m quick, intelligent and clinical in front of goal. I’ve had a good, successful two years in the Welsh Premier League and I’m now looking to build on that.
“I can’t wait to meet all the supporters. I’ll get a buzz from meeting and playing in front of every single fan.”
