The beautiful new stadium shop opened at McDiarmid Park on Sunday afternoon, with defender Matty Foulds, chairman Adam Webb, and vice-chairman Francis Smith on hand to thank the retail team for their great work.
Long-time host at the stadium shop, Betty Shipp, was delighted to sell a set of Saints pyjamas to the first customer!
Located adjacent to the Geoff Brown Stand and beside the popular Fanzone, the fresh club-branded space – which replaces the old shop at the corner of the Ormond and East Stands – provides fans with a larger, dedicated home for all things Saints.
The shop stocks a wide range of official club kit and merchandise, including training wear, travel wear, accessories and a host of gifts and souvenirs.
It was a memorable day on and off the pitch at the weekend, with the Saints marking the occasion with a thrilling 4-3 victory against Kilmarnock.
The stadium shop will be open Tuesday and Friday from 10am-4.30pm and on a Saturday from 10am-1pm. On matchdays, the shop will be open before and, when possible, after the game. We would love to see you there!
Club Chairman Adam Webb said: “This is something we’ve been working towards for quite some time, so it’s fantastic to see it come to life. The new shop looks absolutely brilliant and allows us to properly showcase our fantastic range of Saints merchandise.
“Sunday was a special day all round. To see so many fans enjoying the new shop, and then to witness such an entertaining 4-3 win, made it an occasion to remember.
“I’d like to thank everyone who played their part in completing this project. A huge amount of hard work has gone into creating this new space, and I’m incredibly grateful to all the staff and contractors involved. I hope our supporters enjoy it for many years to come.”
