The draw for the group stage of the 2026/27 Premier Sports Cup will take place on Wednesday, May 27 at 1pm.
The draw will be broadcast live online by Premier Sports and on the SPFL YouTube channel. We will bring you news of the draw as soon as possible thereafter.
We are in pot one, ball number eight.
As has been the case for the previous four seasons, there is no regionalised aspect to the draw.
The 40 participating clubs have been split into five seeding pots based on final league placings
in season 2025/26. One club from each pot will be drawn into the eight Groups A-H.
The five clubs taking part in UEFA competitions next season will join the eight group winners and three best runners-up in the last 16.
The three guest clubs for the 2026/27 Premier Sports Cup have been confirmed as Linlithgow Rose (Lowland League winners), Brora Rangers (Highland League winners) and Brechin City (Highland League runners-up).
As previously highlighted, the tournament will kick off on the weekend of July 11/12.
