We’ve got three more former players to name in our Tennent’s Sixes squad.
The event is being staged at Braehead Arena in Glasgow on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 and will bring together all 12 SPFL Premiership clubs in a unique indoor six-a-side tournament.
So far, we’ve confirmed that Liam Craig, Frazer Wright, Craig Conway, Jody Morris, Cillian Sheridan and Kevin Cuthbert will represent the Saints!

STEVEN ANDERSON
Arriving at McDiarmid Park in 2004, Ando would become a key figure in the heart of our defence and helped return the club to the top-flight.
He wrote his name into the history books by scoring the opener in our 2014 Scottish Cup final win against Dundee United. A trademark back-post header sent the Saints support – and indeed the city of Perth – wild.
Ando always gave everything for the badge and we’re sure he will again at the Tennent’s Sixes!
GAVIN SWANKIE
Creative spark Gavin Swankie signed for Saints back in 2008 from Dundee.
Comfortable playing in midfield or further forward, Gavin was a technically gifted player with a real eye for a pass.
Gavin was a key part of our 2008/2009 First Division-winning side and helped secure our return to the top-flight.
We’re looking forward to seeing Gav back out on the pitch at the Tennent’s Sixes!
PETER MACDONALD
Former striker Peter ‘Peaso’ MacDonald is confirmed for the Tennent’s Sixes and can’t wait to get out there.
He pulled on the colours of St Johnstone Football Club across a 10-year period from 2001-2011, netting a number of important and memorable goals.
Three of them were when Peaso notched a perfect hat-trick against Motherwell during the 2009/10 Scottish Premiership season.
