The under-19s’ strong finish to the league season continued this week when they defeated Queen of the South.
Played at Palmerston in Dumfries on Tuesday, the young Saints picked up three points thanks to a hard-earned 4-2 triumph on the road.
Dougal McAdam and Danny Gray were on target, while forward Murray Binnie – who has been on loan with Jeanfield Swifts this season – netted a double.
It was a result that built on a 5-1 win against Edinburgh City the week prior.
