An energetic player who is comfortable on the ball, Macaulay (20) came through the academy at Hearts before making his senior debut in December 2023 – a 2-0 victory at Celtic Park.
He has represented Hearts on the European stage and impressed on loan at Livingston over two spells in West Lothian.
Macaulay signed for Saints in the summer of 2026 on a contract through until 2028.
