FAMILY STAND RETURNS (NORTH STAND)

One of our most critical objectives is growing our fanbase and, therefore, season 2026/27 will see the reintroduction of the Family Stand. The North Stand – not the Ormond – will be the Family Stand.

Under-13s will go FREE in the Family Stand when accompanied by a parent of guardian. Therefore, for only £250, a parent or guardian can bring one or two children under the age of 13 for the whole season.

The full update on the Family Stand can be read HERE!

AWAY SUPPORT UPDATE

Another big change is that we are moving all away fans out of the Geoff Brown Stand. In recent years, away fans have been given 950 seats in the Geoff Brown Stand and, only if those have sold out, the North Stand has been opened. Now, the Ormond Stand will be the away stand. We are adding a disabled seating area and disabled parking and access.

There are several reasons for this change: improving the experience for our fans in the Geoff Brown Stand, adding desirable seating areas for our supporters, increasing the capacity of our very successful hospitality, and improving the matchday atmosphere.

As previously indicated, as a matter of financial expediency, we will sell three stands to Rangers and Celtic. All East Stand season ticket holders will move to the Geoff Brown Stand for these particular fixtures. Family Stand season ticket holders will be offered seating options in the Geoff Brown Stand.

Hearts will be given the entire North and Ormond Stands. This allows us to maximise club revenue while keeping the Family Stand season ticket price low.

We understand that these decisions may divide opinion. However, the additional revenue generated from these fixtures provides a significant financial boost to the club, which is vital in helping us compete and invest both on and off the pitch.

A MESSAGE FROM THE CEO

After lengthy study and discussion, the club has made several difficult decisions regarding seating and ticketing for next season. The end result will be a better atmosphere at McDiarmid Park, more ticket sales, and a stronger club.

As we prepare for our return to the Scottish Premiership, we do so with a clear understanding of the challenges many of our supporters are currently facing. We know that times are difficult, and we never take for granted the commitment it takes to follow St Johnstone.

However, returning to the Premiership brings with it increased operational costs and demands. We cannot set ticket prices at the lower levels we might like and still be a sustainable and competitive club.

After researching other clubs, surveying many of our supporters, and studying data from prior seasons, we have developed a ticketing strategy with Impresario Strategic Growth that meets various needs of the club and supporters. Some prices will increase, others will decrease, and all prices are fair based on historical prices in the Premiership and price inflation in recent years.

We remain committed to being a club that sits at the heart of its community. Every decision we take is made with the aim of balancing financial responsibility, on-field ambition, and supporter accessibility.

Your support is what drives this football club forward, and we thank you for standing with us as we take this next step.
