Despite equalising twice, St. Johnstone’s U20s side were defeated 3-2 by Aberdeen this afternoon at Station Park, Forfar.
The Dons opened the scoring with a David Goodwillie penalty after 10 minutes before Kyle Lander, on loan at Stirling Albion, equalized after 19 minutes.
3 minutes later Aberdeen went 2-1 up through Parker before in form striker Greg Hurst pulled Saints level again in the 26th minute.
Despite that 16 minute scoring spree, the winning goal was scored in the 71st minute through Parker again.
Saints are next in action in the SPFL Development League next Tuesday (1st December) against Celtic in Airdrie.
