CUP DRAW BRINGS FORMER SAINTS BACK TO PERTH

Morton visit Perth in Co-operative Insurance Cup

Saints have been paired with Morton in the Second Round of the Co-operative Insurance Cup, the draw for which was made at Lesser Hampden in Glasgow this morning.

The game will take place at McDiarmid Park and will bring former Saints players Allan Moore, Kevin Cuthbert and Stuart McCaffrey back to Perth.

'Moorie' is now the manager at Cappielow while goalkeeper Cuthbert has been plying his trade there since leaving Perth two years ago. McCaffrey (pictured in training), meanwhile, is in the early weeks of his 'Ton career having left Saints just two weeks ago.

The game will likely take place on Tuesday 24th August but this will be confirmed later today.
