LAST TIME OUT: SAINTS
Graham Carey scored a stunning strike from 30 yards as Saints defeated Livingston 1-0 to book a place in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup semi-finals on Monday evening.
The hosts had chances to take the lead during the first half however, Andy Fisher made two brilliant saves to firstly deny Andrew Shinnie and then Danny Wilson.
Adama Sidibeh had the ball in the net for Saints on 20 minutes however, it was chalked off as the Gambian had been offside.
The only goal of the game came on 73 minutes as Carey tried his luck from distance, slotting home an unbelieve strike from 30 yards that went in off the crossbar.
Livi pressed late on for an equaliser however, Saints superbly saw the game out to book a return trip to Hampden Park to take on the reigning cup holders, Celtic in the semi-final.
LAST TIME OUT: ABERDEEN
Aberdeen also booked their place in the last four of the Scottish Cup in their last match.
The Dons defeated Queen’s Park at Pittodrie on Saturday with Kevin Nisbet, Oday Dabbagh and Graeme Shinnie on the scoresheet in a 4-1 victory.
Jimmy Thelin’s side will take on Hearts at Hampden in the other semi-final of the competition.
COMMUNITY DAY
This Saturday’s fixture doubles up as The St Johnstone Community Trust’s annual Community Day.
The match will shine the spotlight on the community trust – better known as Saints in the Community – and we’re hoping for a bumper crowd to join in the fun.
The club’s charitable arm work tirelessly to support individuals across Perth and Kinross and Community Day has become a key part of our calendar.
Alongside raising awareness of the charity’s initiatives, the event will serve as a key fundraiser to help the trust continue its vital work in the local area.
Following last year’s successful event, Saints in the Community are once again inviting fans of all ages to take part in a range of activities throughout the afternoon.
A Family Fan Zone will be set-up on the all-weather astroturf pitch in the lead-up to the match, with the fun activities kicking-off from 12.15pm. Please note, this is open to both home and away supporters. The fan zone will wrap up at 2.15pm.
OUTDOOR BAR
An outdoor bar offering a large selection of drinks will be available throughout the afternoon from 12pm in the build-up to the game, run by Findlay’s Events. Soak up the atmosphere with friends old and new before cheering on your favourites. Last orders at 2.30pm.
GIG ON A TRUCK
We’re delighted to be welcoming Perth Theatre’s popular Gig on a Truck down to the fan zone to ensure the atmosphere is bouncing ahead of kick-off. Artists performing on the day are still to be fully confirmed but we’ll update you on that shortly.

Whether you're a football fan or even just looking for a great day out with the family, the fan zone experience is not one to be missed.
There will be plenty of activities to keep the kids (and adults) entertained, including the likes of small-sided games, soak the coach, target challenges and much more.
HEALTH CHECKS
Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland will be present on the day and will be offering free blood pressure health checks and advice for adults.
CLOTHING DONATIONS
A Social Flock donation point will be on-site at the fan zone, allowing people to drop off any pre-loved clothing, with a particular need for men’s clothing including joggers, jeans, t-shirts, and jumpers.
SAINTS FANS SUPPORTING FOODBANKS

The ‘Bring a Pound to the Ground’ campaign will return, encouraging fans to donate £1 into the donation buckets – situated around the stadium - to support the trust’s work.

MUIRTON SUITE AND LIVE MUSIC
Fancy a drink and some socialising before kick-off? Head down to the Muirton Suite (located under the Main Stand) from 11am. Great drinks, snacks and live sport on our big screens. Home and away fans welcome.
After the game, local musician Mikey MacLennan will officially kick-off ‘Muirton Sessions’.
Mikey, from Bridge of Earn, will be entertaining crowds in the Muirton Suite from 5.15pm and we would encourage fans to get in early to get a best view of the action.
Included in his usual set-list are covers of the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The View and Oasis.
“It’s great to be able to play in Perth and at a nice venue like McDiarmid Park, especially when there is the buzz of a football match,”
Mikey said. Mikey will be entertaining from 5.15pm until 7pm. The Muirton Suite is open immediately after full-time and will serve a great selection of drinks.
It is hoped that the ‘Muirton Sessions’ will become a staple of our matchday experience at McDiarmid Park and we look forward to welcoming more local musicians to the stadium in the weeks and months ahead.
