BIG AWAY DAY PLANNED FOR EAST END PARK

BIG AWAY DAY PLANNED FOR EAST END PARK

26th July 2016

Give the Saints your backing at Dunfermline

Saints are away to Dunfermline Athletic a week on Saturday and the players are assured of a bigger than normal support thanks to an suggestion on the fans’ website forum weareperth.co.uk which has gathered momentum in the past few weeks.

Regular supporters have been encouraged to bring along friends and family, local supporters clubs, pubs and clubs have been asked to run buses and Saints fans from further afield who, perhaps can only make it to a handful of games a season have been encouraged to make next Saturday one of their games.

The aim of the initiative is not only to ensure a big support for the team on the day but also to give the Saints support a chance to enjoy a good day out – to quote from the original post, “Lets all go in party mood and make the biggest racket ever at an away league game.”

Regular bus providers such as the Jeanfield 208 have reduced their prices and upped the number of buses being run and together with a big order for balloons having been placed it looks like being a carnival atmosphere!

The initiative may be repeated at a home game later in the campaign but in the meantime why not make sure you head to East End Park next Saturday and join in the support.

Admission prices at East End Park are as follows: Adult £16; Concessions £10; Under 12s £5.
