SNOW UPSETS PLANS FOR INJURED DUO

26th July 2016

Saints planned reserve game today has been postponed

Plans to give Jody Morris and Kevin James more match practice this afternoon have been scuppered by the postponement of the scheduled Reserve League Cup game against Ross County in Dingwall.

The Saints squad had already departed Perth for the game which had a 2pm kick-off and were at Dalwhinnie when they were informed of the call-off, due to snow in the Ross-shire town.

The long-term injured pair had managed some action last week in a closed door game against Forfar and a successful run today could have seen Jody in the squad for Saturday’s match at Dunfermline although it is likely club captain James (pictured) wwould have required further games before he can be considered.

Lee Robinson, Steven Doris, Steven Anderson, Alan Morgan, Collin Samuel and Peter MacDonald were among the others due to have played today.
