LADBROKES SCOTTISH PREMIERSHIP: INVERNESS 0-1 SAINTS
26th July 2016
Liam Craig, grabbing his third goal since his return to McDiarmid Park, won and converted a stoppage time penalty to win the match for Saints against Inverness.
St. Johnstone played the majority of the second half with ten men following captain Dave Mackay's sending off minutes after the interval. However, for the second time this season Saints won a match despite having a man fewer than their opponents.
The win, which was also Saints' first clean sheet of the campaign, takes St. Johnstone into the top six at the expense of Tayside rivals Dundee.
