A NIGHT TO REMEMBER AT McDIARMID PARK

26th July 2016

McDiarmid Park had a night to remember this evening as it staged it’s first ever concert.

McDiarmid Park had a night to remember this evening as it staged it’s first ever concert.

Elton John was the main attraction and the rain stayed off as close on 16,000 fans – the stadium’s biggest-ever attendance - rocked the night away to hits including Crocodile Rock, Rocket Man, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and I’m Still Standing.

Prior to the main attraction, the crowd was entertained by Richard Fleeshman and Fife band Healthy Minds Collapse but it was the rock legend who got the crowd dancing as his hits boomed across the Perthshire summer night. A night to remember for everyone!
