Kerr Smith returns to Aston Villa

St Johnstone can confirm that defender Kerr Smith has returned to his parent club Aston Villa due to injury.

The club would like to thank Kerr for his services and wish him all the best for the future.

Saints manager Craig Levein added: "It is unfortunate the way things have worked out for Kerr but I would like to personally thank him for his efforts during his time on loan at the club.

"I wish him well for the future back at Aston Villa."
