PREVIEW | U18s vs Livingston

Our under-18s return to CAS League action on Friday evening.

The young Saints welcome Livingston to the McDiarmid Park astroturf for a 7.30pm kick-off and all support would be much appreciated.

Saints head into the fixture off the back of a 5-0 victory against Inverness last week.

Filip Franczak, who has featured in defence and midfield this season, said: “We have togetherness and there is something special in that changing room. We’ve been playing some really good football for the last couple of years.

“We got off to a good start this season then had a little dip, but we’re back on track and I’m pretty sure that is now four clean sheets in a row.

“I’m not too sure what to expect from Livingston, but we do know it will be a tough game.”

Filip was on the scoresheet in last week’s success and, while finding himself in advanced positions has not always been familiar, he hopes to add further goals to his tally.

He said: “We started really well against Inverness, scored early on and were on the front foot. That was important and we were pretty comfortable after that.

“I moved into midfield, really enjoyed it and I found it a fun position to play in.

“It gives me more opportunity to score too, like on Friday which was my second goal of the season. That is a great feeling.”

Supporters are welcome to attend Friday night's match. Remember, it’s a 7.30pm kick-off on the McDiarmid Park astroturf.
