The launch of a refreshed brand identity

We are delighted to unveil a bold new chapter in our history with the launch of a refreshed brand identity, delivered in collaboration with leading creative agency RYSE.

The rebrand represents a renewed sense of purpose and ambition for the club as we look to the future while remaining deeply rooted in the proud traditions and values that define St Johnstone.

With a modern visual identity, updated crest and a unified tone of voice, the new brand reflects our commitment to growth, innovation and connection with our supporters – both in Perth and beyond.

Working alongside RYSE, a Perthshire-based team renowned for its creative insight and strategic approach, we’ve crafted a brand that captures the spirit of the Saints – strong, authentic and community-driven.

St Johnstone CEO Fran Smith said: “This partnership with RYSE has been in the pipeline for a while now and received a positive response when shared with supporters at our well-attended fans’ forum.

“It has allowed us to reimagine how we present ourselves, not just as a football club, but as a vital part of our city and community.

“We’re proud of our heritage and this new identity provides a platform to build on it – for our supporters today and for future generations.

“We are hugely excited as a club to see the new brand rolled out across our digital platforms and beyond in the coming months.”

RYSE CEO Matty Souter said: “We are delighted to unveil the reimagined club crest for St Johnstone. The team at RYSE have worked passionately to evolve the club’s existing imagery into something refined, recognisable and powerful – a crest that pays tribute to the club’s rich history while enhancing its visibility for the future.

“This new crest marks the beginning of a wider transformation. Over the coming year, we’ll be introducing a refreshed visual identity across club merchandise, collateral and at McDiarmid Park – aligning every element with a bold, unified look and feel.

“As a lifelong Saints fan, this project has been nothing short of a dream come true. From standing on the sidelines as a mascot, to chasing balls as a ballboy, to attending matches week in, week out with my dad – St Johnstone has been a constant throughout my life.

“That spirit has been at the heart of every decision we’ve made during this rebrand, fulfilling the club’s motto: One Club, One City, One Community.

“The new crest is a commitment to unity, progress and to every supporter who calls St Johnstone home. We hope the fans love it as much as we do.”

The new branding will be rolled out across digital platforms, official merchandise and throughout McDiarmid Park over the coming weeks and months, with a dedicated campaign offering fans a closer look at the inspiration and process behind the redesign.
