A milestone moment for Matt Smith

Matt Smith is set to make his 50th appearance for the club in this afternoon’s William Hill Premiership fixture against Dundee at Dens Park.
The midfielder, who joined us back in the summer of 2023, is in line for his 46th start for us while he has appeared off the bench on four occasions.
During that time, Matt has found the back of the net on one occasion. Ironically, that came against today’s opponents in February of this year.
He had given us the lead with a composed, low finish with his right-foot from 20 yards and impressed throughout the game.
Matt, who has represented Wales at international level, has been a consistent performer for the club in the middle of the park and has chipped in with numerous assists.
He teed-up Benji Kimpioka for our second goal in last week’s 3-0 victory against Ross County at McDiarmid Park.
